In its challenge Practice Fusion offered a chance for patient-focused medical devices, websites and mobile applications to plug-in directly to one of the largest health platforms in the US, promote participatory medicine, improve chronic disease management and enable health care apps in real clinical settings. The Real-Time Patient-Driven Data Challenge asked for solutions that save health data to patient charts and retrieve the data for the patient.
Team Critical Systems was the winner of the challenge and of the tickets to the Health 2.0 Fall Conference in San Francisco, October 7-8, 2010 and to "DC to VC" event. They built a MS HealthVault CCR integration into Practice Fusion's Patient Health Care Record/Chart. It allows patients to send MS HealthVault Records to Practice Fusion.
