Part 3 of The Next Generation of Communities session stayed on the topic of online communities, but instead of talking about traditional disease communities, the panelists talked about building health care applications on non health care platforms, like Twitter and FaceBook. This section, at the Health 2.0 Fall Conference in San Francisco, October 7-8 2010, was structured as a series of demonstrations from technology companies that are following this trend of everyday life platforms.
Panelists in this session were Manny Hernandez, President, Diabetes Hands Foundation, Chris Cartter, General Manager, MeYou Health, Alex Ressi, Founder, TweetWhatYouEat, and Josh Elman, Product Manager, Twitter.
