Morning time can be the worst time

I often hear people complaining about their fast paced morning and a lack of prep time for a meal that sticks to their *vegan diet* plan. A lot of us have our plates full in the morning hustle and bustle and food is usually lacking on that plate. A diet can take some logistical planning in order to make it a breeze to go through you day but here are a few tips in order to help you along.

A *vegan diet* can really help you boost your metabolism and since you are eating less junk and more organic foods your body is going to process it faster and more efficiently. This process will keep you wanting to eat more often than what you are use too so it is important to pack in the nutrients when you have time to prep a meal or eat out. My first choice for a quick and healthy start for the morning rush is smoothies. Smoothies can be a great tasting and very nutritious way to get your body going in the morning time. When I make my smoothies I like to make them the night before or even a big batch that I can refrigerate to make multiple smoothies out of.

For a small batch of smoothies I first take a banana, apple, almond milk, blueberries, and cranberries and blend together. The measurements are totally up to your taste as each person is different. Some like a more sweet approach and add raw sugar, some like it to be creamier and add twice the bananas. Either way you are getting a great dose of several vitamins and antioxidants that your body will efficiently digest and the apple can give you that bit of energy to wake you up.  I like to experiment and add different items and usually get mixed results yet this is a great way to have fun and make some really delicious concoctions that will help your *vegan diet* in the mornings.
